♥ EASTER JOY

He Is Risen

For most of us, the annual Easter Egg Hunt is a long held tradition. Our little ones become so excited, hoping they will be the one to find the biggest chocolate Easter bunnies and the most plastic Easter eggs, full of jelly beans and other yummy stuff.  The competition is fierce.  The kiddos get ready with their baskets and buckets in hand, and off they go.  They run as fast as their little feet will carry them.  The bigger ones will either help the smaller ones, or they do the opposite and take full advantage of their size and speed, to gather as many of those treasures as possible.  Either way, the adults always make sure everyone goes away from the hunt a winner, overflowing with goodies.

We take advantage of this "holiday" time to make these memories for our children.  The kids love it, and we enjoy doing it for them.  And this is great, as long as we also teach our children the real reason we celebrate Easter.  Jesus.  God's son, our Savior.  If you are a Christian parent, please remember how important it is that your children know this.  If you don't teach them, who will?

I find my joy in Jesus.  I hope you find your joy in Him as well.
