♥ HER LOVE FOR A LITTLE BOY

This post will not seem like the others.  This post feels extremely sad and full of anguish...a mother's love for her little boy.  I'm bringing you two sides of the same love.  One mother loved her son so much, but now he is an angel.  Another mother loved her son so much she jumped out of a burning building, her only hope being to save her little boy, no matter what might happen to her.

Please take a few moments to check out these two stories of a mother's love for her child. Click on the links. I promise it will make you go home and hug your kids.

When I found this today, it made me think of the story of the woman who jumped out of the window of her burning apartment.

"Lying in her hospital bed, Christina Simoes knows she may never walk again, but she says she's thankful she and her toddler son are alive after she jumped from a burning building with him in her arms."

"I grabbed my son and I held him as tight as I could to my chest and I gave him a kiss and a hug, and I told him I loved him and I jumped out the window,"

"I didn't think about it. All I was thinking about was getting him out of there. He mattered way more than I did,"

"...doctors are not sure whether she will be able to walk again. Cameron is doing just fine."

This was actually posted here.

This is a website called
"For My Sweet Boy, Jonah"
"the story of being a mommy to an angel"

"He will always be my angel and I will always be his mommy.  I am so lucky to have so many memories with my Jonah, but so sad I couldn't have more."

It doesn't feel right to tell any more of Margaret's story.  No one can say it in better words than she herself.   Go to her site, read her story.  Hug your kids.

♥ TEACHING OUR GIRLS THE REAL LESSONS IN LIFE

Lisa-Jo Baker has been very generous in allowing others to repost some of her lovely list of things she wants to teach her daughter about life.  These are just a few that made me smile  : )  Take a look, and be sure to check out her full list.

Beauty is a state of mind, not a state of body

The benefit of the doubt is sometimes the best gift we can give our friends

Your daddy has loved you better and longer than any boy ever will

Food is a joy

Ice cream is a love language

No prayer request is ever too small, too silly or too embarrassing to share

Staying up late to read a good book is never time wasted

God says He has made all things beautiful – that includes you, my love – no matter how you feel about your body

If it makes you feel uncomfortable, don’t do it, wear it or say it

The painful truth is always easier than a messy lie
